Which German universities can I realistically get into with a German GPA of 1.8?

Hi everyone,

I'm an international student planning to apply for a Master's in Data Science or Computer Science in Germany. My converted German GPA is 1.8.

I'm trying to build a smart application list instead of applying to dozens of universities and spending a lot of money on application fees and document processing.

With a 1.8 GPA:

• Can I realistically get into top universities (e.g., TUM, RWTH Aachen, Heidelberg, etc.)?
• Or should I focus more on mid-tier universities?
• Which universities would you recommend I have a good chance at for Data Science or Computer Science?

I'd really appreciate hearing from people who had a similar GPA or went through the admissions process.
