Marina had always know that her lifestyle was a risky one, but if she thought back she'd never honestly though about what it would mean for her to have to keep it going alone. College hadn't been for her: she'd gone for a semester and dropped out. She'd spent a few years working odd jobs. She'd driven uber, some gig work graphic design that hadn't ever really felt better than mediocre, and finally landed a consistent job as a bartender in the big city a couple hours from where she'd grown up.

Marina had never made enough money from any single job to pay all her bills, and she didn't have much saved. She'd started her Onlyfans in a particularly lean month, and had only made $10 more than what she'd needed to make rent. But it had worked. Marina wasn't the most active user; she'd never been under any illusion that it was going to make her a millionaire. But she was pretty and bubbly, and good at the social media side of the industry, and after about a year it had been close to half her income.

Brandon had always been chill about how Marina made money. They'd met on Tinder the same month she started, and within six months they'd moved in together. Brandon didn't really want to be a part of her online personality, but Marina knew that couple videos would be the best selling thing on her page. He'd agreed to shoot a video a month with her, and she'd been right: every time she posted content with a guy, it was a huge moneymaker.

Unfortunately for Marina, the relationship had gotten stale in other ways. They fought all the time, and even though the sex never got bad she and Brandon finally had to face the fact that they didn't like being together. When his job offered him a promotion if he moved to Nashville, he took it.

Outside of losing her relationship, Marina was stressed about what it meant for her income. She'd put down some money on a trip before the breakup: a resort in Mexico where she and Brandon could relax, drink, and make content for 10 straight days. Suddenly, she was looking at a solo trip.

Marina wasn't sure what she was going to do as she clocked in at the bar. She was dressed to impress: tight shorts, a subtle push-up bra, and a tank top that didn't hide much. She knew if she turned up her flirt, she could make some extra tips. But her next big move? She needed ideas.
