Past examples of racket name change? Is it possible?

Like a lot of spin racket users, I’ve been closely watching all the reviews of the Defyer. And while I don’t really care enough to have it keep me from demoing and possibly buying one, I agree with all the comments about the INSANE choice for a name. Which led me to wonder, has a racket maker ever goofed on a name so much they actually changed it in a future update? It seems so risky from a product awareness standpoint to do so, but it seems like EVERYONE is shocked by how wonky the name is. Color response seems mixed, but vast majority can’t seem to resist dunking on the name. Has it been done in the past effectively? Possible it’ll happen here? Seems like if they were to consider doing so, it should happen as soon as possible so the updated name can stick in the minds of consumers asap, but who knows. Personally my guess is they’ve invested too much in the rollout and marketing to change it. Even though I think they should in the long run…
