Continued Watching - It's so flaky, any suggestions?

The Continued Watching has been extremely flaky for me these days and I am not sure why. I was on Trakt since I switched as the sync was more stable but recently, Trakt is not going a good job of keeping pace of the Continued Watching content across devices, so I switched back to Nuvio Sync, and this one sometimes shows all the shows I am watching and sometimes it doesn't.

For example, I finished House of Dragon S3E4 just now, and for a while it was showing the "new episode in 6 days card" but after removing a show from the Continued Watching carousel, House of Dragon suddenly vanished and so did another show which showed a new episode was airing tomorrow.

Why is it like this? How can I have something more stable and smooth?
