How would you explain the seven deadly sins in a way that I can easily understand it?

Ok, this is going to be a lot. Hi, I’m writing a story inspired by Lucifer’s fall from Heaven. In my story, the fallen angels are turned human as punishment to teach them a lesson so they have to live like humans.

For context:
Besides from my Lucifer character, I picked Mammon and Beezlebub. I also picked my own characters Asmodael and Belphaeus.
I wanted to incorporate some because Lucifer had Pride. Mammon has Greed, Bee with Gluttony, Asmo with Wrath, and Bel with Sloth. So I picked 5 sins for my characters in my story.

I recently came across a video on TT where someone was talking about the seven deadly sins so I was intrigued on what they had to say.
They talked about gluttony and how they were confused on why it was a sin. Some comments were confused about gluttony and greed, saying that gluttony IS greed or a form of greed. I was confused about envy as well and sloth.

How would go about explaining the concept of the seven deadly sins? Because I made my Mammon character like a hoarder and a cheapskate because he doesn’t wanna spend his money and keeps it to himself.
I thought it seemed accurate that he was like a dragon with horde of money.
