Rollover 401k to Roth IRA or keep as is?

Hey all! I was recently laid off and am wondering what to do with my 401k. I’m 31 and have about $30,000 in it. I don’t have a new job lined up yet and am wondering if I should keep my 401k where it is and roll it over to a Roth IRA or something else. I’ve been trying to look into my options but am a little confused on what’s best. What would be best in the long term?
