One shower households: how do you manage when everyone wants to shower at the same time?

Say you all been to the beach or a sweaty outing - I'm not that keen on anyone sitting on furniture before showering and changing. Right now (no kids yet) my husband gets dibs since he is way faster in the shower, while I usually weed in the garden, wait outside, in the car or do something that doesn't require sitting down. This works fine for us but in my mind the procedure will suck with kids. Younger ones could shower with us but when they get older...? And usually everyones tired coming home so I can imagine it being annoying.
