If Christianity is a loving religion and goes against the right’s values then why is the left afraid of being one?
This makes no sense I am not a political person myself nor am I religious (I am agnostic meaning I believe in god but don’t practice anything).
I have always viewed god as a backup option for me whenever I need it whether it’s in physical or mental pain. Surely something exists out there in the Universe. But we don’t know what. The fact that it is a hating religion is absolute bs made by conservatives to brainwash liberals into thinking the wrong way.
For example bible states that you should respect immigrants: The most famous Bible quote about foreigners is Leviticus 19:33-34. It commands: "When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them... Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt." This exact principle of empathy is repeated throughout both the Old and New Testaments.
So here is one example of what ICE is doing clearly goes against the bible.
I highly doubt anything lgbt-related was ever a sin in the first place: 1 John 4:16 ("God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them."): This is often cited as the primary lens through which all other scripture should be interpreted. If a relationship is rooted in mutual love, fidelity, and respect, it is inherently God-honoring.
What I find funny is there are literal immigrants coming to the US from Mexico as Christians praying and thanking god that they have kept them safe. Even most of the black community is a proud Christian and most are Democrats…
Meanwhile we have liberal white women on TikTok how they brag about becoming an atheist since it’s been a trend lately… 😂😂
They probably have POC friends who are Christian and have left-leaning views which makes no sense
