Purchased travel insurance for international flight

I recently purchased international flights and paid $380 to cover my husband and myself. I’m still within the window to cancel the travel insurance but I’m reading through the Declaration of Coverage and it looks to be pretty comprehensive. I’ve seen so many horror stories regarding the travel insurance offered with the reserve card, I didn’t want to chance having issues with Chase should I have to file a claim. For reference the insurance I purchased is through Allianz. It sucks that I have this card benefit, but still feel the need to purchase additional insurance for peace of mind. Has anyone else done something similar? Is it recommended, giving Chase’s track record with how they handle claim?
