Was he making a move or just testing boundaries?

Guy friend and I have talked every day for a year. Endless flirting and constant banter. He tells me about his sex life and also asks about mine.

A few days ago, he stopped by my place from 3am-6am to yap. We stood in my driveway and drank from his tequila bottle and shared a joint. He was openly checking me out; he said my outfit was fire, and as soon as I turned around, he went, “Damn, girl, your ass looks GOOD!”

We talked about how to continue building my glutes and he asked if he could touch me to demonstrate what he meant. I said yes and he gently caressed my glutes, lower back and thighs as he studied my proportions and explained how to strengthen each area. His hands felt a little too good 😩

Each time we passed the joint, tequila bottle and a water bottle to each other, our fingers would touch and kind of linger.

He needed to take a leak on the sidewalk and said, “Come with me so we can keep talking.” (It felt intimate.)

He’s told me many times that he never makes the first move. Was touching me his way of signalling to me that if I wanted to get physical, he’d be cool with it? Or was he just testing the boundaries to see what he could get away with?
