Is online tracking always automatically updated?

I had a package delayed several days and I'm leaving town tomorrow (my fault, I know). The most recent update was 1:13 this morning when it departed Facility A.

I looked back at some previous packages and they all left Facility A around 1 a.m., arrived at Facility B around 5, and were delivered around noon. It's currently 12:30 and there's been no update, but the estimated delivery date still says today. Is the package for sure still on the truck waiting to be scanned, or is it possible the tracking is lagging by several hours and I can expect it today?
