Need help with my Income tax dues

So I was in a company X, Left it in June. Prior to this I was in another company and joined this company on June. (Exactly a year I worked here) My salary was 23Lpa. Then I joined Y company with salary 26.8LPA. I had already paid 2.2L in TDS. But I apparently have to pay 1.6L more now as per my CA while she was filing for ITR. I had an extra income of 1L.
Last year as well I paid some 1.4L extra. This is such a pain. Apparently the reason of this is my previous employer deducted only 20%. Because they paid me 19L so they considered 16-20 Tax slab.

Need help here
