Unlinking accoun t

I play on switch and of course couldnt experience all of the anniversary shenanigans.

I really wanted to watch the 2 embers so i bit the bullet and downloaded the pc version from steam. I need to unlink the nintendo account to be able to link the steam one. the switch wont let me do it.

so i need to download and install the 2gb app on my phone, so i can unlink the nintendo from the account i play on switch, so that i may login and play on pc, and then uninstall it from the phone??all because i cant watch the damn show anywhere else???

Am i missing something? because this is seriously making me crash out.
