App idea: An Uber/Airbnb-style map for finding workout buddies, venues, and trainers

Hey everyone,

I'm building a new sports/fitness app and need some honest feedback. The core feature is an interactive map that works similarly to Uber or Airbnb.

The main mission of the app is to give certified personal trainers an easy way to monetize their skills—allowing them to offer their services locally and earn extra money directly through the app.

Here is what the app will include:Sports Venues & Private Gyms: The map will highlight all local gyms, outdoor calisthenics parks, stadiums, and pools. We also plan to integrate partnerships and contracts with private gyms.

Trainers & Monetization: Verified licensed trainers will have profiles with ratings. Users can spot them on the map, book a session, and pay securely in-app (Card/Apple Pay).

Workout Buddies: If you connect with someone for a workout, you'll see each other on the map. It makes finding a spotter or training partner in your area incredibly easy.

Team Sports: A feature to connect with local groups for football (soccer), hockey, inline skating, and other team sports.

Videos & Tutorials: Eventually, we will add an exercise database where users and trainers can create and upload their own workout tutorial videos.

Does this concept make sense to you? Would you use the map to find a workout buddy, and if you are a trainer, would you use this platform to earn money? Thanks for your feedback!
