Ok i confessed to my crush and there's confusion

so i told directly after holding onto it for months that I like him and his first response was what did you like in me i told him all ,

now since both our families are pretty he said he wouldn't proceed without families agreement to which I said ok

then I asked him would you tell your family to which he said no and i thought that was the end and said good night..... but he continues the conversation by asking me what should I tell at home I asked him if he were serious he said yes ,,,ok then I remembered we hadn't discussed the age gap ( irl he's 3-4yrs elder to me) but he said he's 30💀 next day I asked him and he said that he was testing me and his real age is no where near 30

now I don't what position am I in? I sense it as a clear rejection.
