Looking for women's perspectives on "deification of women"

I'm preparing for a college debate on the motion: "This House Believes the Deification of Women is Inherently Misogynistic from its Inception."

I'm trying to understand both sides fairly. If you're comfortable sharing, do you think being described as a "goddess" or being put on a pedestal has ever felt empowering or limiting? I'm especially interested in real-life experiences or perspectives rather than just debate points.
