Language of headlines “ICE-involved shooting”

Man, the propaganda machine is really working overtime with these headlines!

Almost everything I see says “shooting involving ICE” or “ICE-involved shooting” — it’s pretty clear they have orders NOT to make headlines like “ICE shoots and kills man” or “another person murdered by ICE agents.”

That passive language is so harmful and clearly intentional to try to alter people’s perceptions when reading only the headline.
