Dealer Procedures and Rules

Rules Question/Discussion

I was at the table yesterday when an argument broke out over a come bet and who's it was on my side of the table. Naturally I and another player called off our bets. Like clock work next roll is a seven. I was too busy reacting to the call from stick and wasnt paying attention to the base dealer. I was standing directly next to the 3rd base dealer and couldn't see my bets while he was scooping up the players that didnt turn off. Next thing I know, he's handing me a stack of chips that I think are my bets. The shooter was actually going on a good roll, I had my bets pressed up pretty good on a few inside numbers but couldn't recall exactly what I had in total on the board. My question is, shouldn't the base dealer have the bets that were off alone and scooped up everything else. I also had bets on the hardways but those got removed. I told the base dealer turn all my bets off, box heard me when I said it. I asked the box why my hardways went down and was told I have to tell the stick too. It was mass confusion bc of the 2 players bickering over a $15 come bet and an inexperienced dealer.

Last question, it was now my roll and all the beginning new shooter stuff is happening. $15 min table. Dice come to me and I rolled a YO. Now another suit walks up to me and says this is now a $25 table, I asked him, after my roll? He said no, it is $25 right now. No warning and I already rolled once. I guess bc it was a winner they could now weasel the new minimum into my roll. Is this allowed? I'm curious what the rule is or if this is a casino to casino house rule? Jokes on them this time bc I hit a few points and was also doing a 3 point molly and hit a few of those for repeaters. I did reset the bonus on a comeout 7 one time but after that, I was a YO and a 5 away from hitting the ATS. We all made a nice chunk of money.
