Does anybody checks out other people’s stuff when they’re not there?
Okay this is very vulnerable, embarrassing but I’m looking to understand this mechanism as both me and my sibling had developed this curiosity which feels like we’ve picked up from our nparents.
We seem to just open up cupboards or draws of roommates when they’re not there, not to even see what’s in there, because it’s so SCARY and Wrong. But the brains just do it and I’m just feeling unsafe and scared and feeling like in danger or monitored by a secret CCTV camera. And immediately close it and run away.
It feels like our brains are voluntarily doing some silly stuff to feel unsafe and shameful. Why’s this happening 😭
Also as kids we’ve seen our nparents behave this way. It’s so hurting
