I currently am wearing the Panache Ariza in 34F. Reviewers recommended to size up on the band and down on the cup, which was definitely the right move. This is currently my only BTF. It has great support, but there’s a few things that I wish were different. Also, I know that this probably wasn’t the most ideal bra to start with. I prefer to buy secondhand and this was by far the best option for the price and condition.

The gore tacks pretty decent, but it occasionally shifts over to sit on the side of one boob or the other. It goes back on its own, but I think that’s indicative of the fact that I need a slightly narrower gore. I can just barely fit two fingers between my boobs. This bra has a much narrower cup than other bras I’ve seen, which is great for me as my boobs sit entirely on the front of my ribcage. It almost fits perfect, but there’s is a very slight bit of empty cup on the very sides. It’s not a huge problem and doesn’t affect the fit, but I think that it would give a slightly better shape if the underwire was just a little bit narrower on the sides. My biggest issue with this bra is that I have some quad boob going on. It’s not noticeable in normal t shirts, but it’s noticeable in anything that’s more form-fitting. It’s not super severe, but I think that I need the actual cup to extend further up to smooth things out rather than having that stretchy lace material. The lace creates a really weird football shape because it’s not doing its job of smoothing and really just pushes tissue up and away from it.

I’m overall pretty satisfied with my first bra based on my calculator size. It fits great for the most part, I just really want something with a better shape. A little bit more lift would also be nice. I have fairly low set boobs, so a bra that creates a more bottom-heavy shape isn’t ideal. It would make me feel a lot more confident in my going out tops. I also have a very short torso, so anything that can lift me up and give me more stomach real estate would make me feel more proportionate. I’m looking for an everyday bra and also the most supportive sports bra possible. I’m in a D1 university marching band, so I need something that’s decent enough to wear on its own in front of a lot of people on hot rehearsal days.

I have a listing saved for a Panache Tango II in 34F. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks for any help/advice!
