What are some everyday problems you experience that can be solved with visual design?

Asking Question (Rule 4)

I'm entering my senior year of VISCOMDES/VCD this autumn and in my uni we finish with a senior project that focuses on solving a problem with visual design. I'm not gonna bore y'all with the programme details, but basically I need a good problem to solve.

I want to do something that really benefits people but at the same time actually does solve an issue and not just "raise awareness" to a certain issue.

I'm not going to use any of these answers verbatim but I am just trying to brainstorm ideas and this community felt like a good place to start. My main issue is that most ideas I have atm are either things that cannot be exactly solved with just design or lean more towards product design... So I need some ideas.

So in short, what are some everyday or otherwise problems you experience that you think could be solved with a better design or an eleborate design system? Or what are some really bad designs that you have to put up with everyday due to a lack of a better alternative?
