No, Paul was not right all along

Seeing EternalUndyingSimp's meme over on the DFF sub bothered me enough that I feel the need to directly address it.

Paul has used Vaush saying he was right about Democrats being weak/ineffectual as evidence that he was right about everything and all of his critics are just too butthurt to admit to his brilliant insight and wisdom. So here's a non-exhaustive list of everything Paul has been wrong about since ~~2021:

  1. Refusing to vote for Democrats and starting a third party movement: The DSA has shown us that taking over the Democratic Party from the inside is how you advance leftism in the US.

  2. Refusing to acknowledge anything positive that leftist Democrats like Zohran Mamdani have done: As soon as they enter office, he continuously shifts the goalposts so nothing they do is ever good enough to placate him. This is so he can maintain his eternal negativity and cynicism and portray his allergy to being optimistic as the insight of a wise old man, when in reality it's just him trying to come up with a way to seem above everyone else.

  3. Repeating Russian talking points while being too ignorant to realize that was what he was doing: Like the post-World War I pacifists who refused to confront belligerent fascist nations in the 1920s and 1930s, Paul's emotional aversion towards conflict of any kind leads him to inadvertently shill for a brutal genocidal regime in the name of "peace." He's a useful idiot for Russia because he read Johnnie Got His Gun and had his brain permanently broken by the Iraq War.

  4. Ageism/thinking he's better than zoomers: Like countless old people before him, he has grown out of touch and become lame, and thus needs to come up with ways to feel smarter than anyone younger than him so he doesn't have to acknowledge how much of a square he is now.

  5. Insisting Republicans and Democrats are the same and Kamala would have been just as bad as Trump: This is self-explanatory, and also self-evidently wrong to anyone capable of intellectual honesty. But again, acknowledging that the GOP is obviously worse would undercut his desire to feel smugly superior to and above everyone who engages in politics. Also a good example of his brain still being stuck in the 2000s.

Paul is a pseudointellectual douchebag who uses emotion and passion as a substitute for evidence and logic, and is incapable of ever admitting his garbage hot takes could possibly be incorrect. So no, he was not actually right all along because a streamer he hates and is obsessed with said he was right about something.
