Having Issues in Maps

Heya, currently working on leveling a CoC infernalist using Ignatius's guide and recently got to maps. Right when I got here I hit one hell of a wall. I know I need one more level for my spellslinger, but I'm not too sure what I'm missing. My recoup seems awful and my spark feels like I'm throwing pool noodles. Was running Arc and LW in my CoC, but tried going back to comet for damage. Doesn't seem to help much.. hopefully someone can give me some insight. Thanks in advance
