Local to BC. Question here

Do people stop overnight at rec sites to wait out the early fees? Will me and a friend be able to find one not completely packed Tuesday night? Don’t wanna pay the extra money for showing up at 0300 Wednesday morning so we want to find somewhere to chill out take a car nap and smoke some weed. Legit need room for one car but I don’t wanna just cause chaos at a site that’s already packed if that makes sense, respect!

I’m local to bc so I have every rec site in the province on this map i use but I just was wondering from personal experience is there a few that fill up with other farm fam or any non rec sites that people consensus go to?
