CBCT Images – Is This Tooth Really Beyond Saving?
Hi everyone. I posted yesterday asking about whether my tooth should be extracted or if it could still be saved.
Today I'm sharing my CBCT (3D scan) images as well. My dentist explained that there isn't enough remaining tooth structure above the gum line to rebuild the tooth or place a post and restoration. Because of that, they recommended extracting it and placing an implant while I still have enough bone.
Based on these CBCT images, do you agree with this assessment? Is there any realistic way to save this tooth, or does extraction seem like the best option?
