Do-or-die situation. Starting GATE prep from zero while working now, how realistic is to get single digit rank in Gate 27?

Some Serious Shit

I'm in a do-or-die situation.

I'm working a full-time job (9–10 hours a day), and I've decided to give everything I have to GATE CSE. The problem is, I'm starting from absolute zero. I'm a below-average student, I've been out of touch with studies for years, and I honestly don't remember most of the subjects.

I know this sounds unrealistic, but I want to aim for a single-digit rank. Not because it sounds cool, but because I need the best possible result. Quitting my job isn't an option.

I'm ready to study every day before and after work, weekends, sacrifices and whatever it takes. I just want to know if anyone has actually pulled off something similar.

Has anyone here started from scratch while working full-time and ended up with a top rank? Or am I setting myself up for disappointment?

I'm looking for honest answers, not motivation for the sake of motivation. If you've been through this, I'd really appreciate your advice.
