By the time you see this, I will have ended my fast, sooner than intended, but absolutely necessarily.

I’m disappointed in not achieving my goal, but happy with how far I’ve come! My longest fast - now 18 days.

This morning as I walked to work I experienced heart palpitations, shortness of breath, exhaustion, and muscle pain/general weakness. This is a half hour walk I’ve completed many a time before with ease. I knew today was the day as I began to gag at even the wind blowing on my face. It’s time to throw in the towel and accept defeat!

Anyways on a less melodramatic note - I’ve learned a lot, and really enjoyed my time fasting! Extended fasting is something I genuinely didn’t think I could do or even intend to do, but once I started I set out a whole bunch of goals which in hindsight were not going to be achieved realistically in the timeframe I wanted 😅 next time if there is one, I’ll be more realistic! Anyways, I’m ending the fast with Ramyeon, I’m going to drink some of the broth and see if I can get anything solid down, if not I’ll continue over the next couple of days on the same dish till I’ve completed it! If I can however I also intend to eat sashimi as it’s a great and easy to digest protein and fat powerhouse!

I started this journey weighing in at 356lbs, and I’m currently still standing at 326lbs. What a difference! Ofc there’s water weight in there which will instantly bounce back, but with the discipline and control I’ve learned after such a fast, I have no doubt that with consistency in portion control and moderation I will achieve my goal of getting under 300lbs since now I’ll be able to workout again!

Thanks for anyone who followed along to this point, it was a great pleasure and I’ll see ya on the next one! 🫡
