3 days in Chengdu (Leshan and Mount Emei?)

Hi everyone,

My partner and I will be visiting China for the first time this September, and we will have 3 full days in Chengdu. Even though it's not a lot of time, we would love to see a bit of the city, visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, and take trips to the Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei.

Here is the 3-day itinerary I’ve put together:

Day 1: Exploring Chengdu at a relaxed pace.

Day 2: Early morning visit to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. Afterwards, take the bullet train to Leshan to see the Giant Buddha in the afternoon. Finally, take a train to Emeishan and stay overnight there.

Day 3: Visit Mount Emei. Return to Chengdu by train in the late afternoon/evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Chengdu.

Do you think this is doable? Would you change anything?
