Walk Away, a thriller

Walk Away consists of two standalone-interconnected novellas taking place during the Four Days Marches in Nijmegen.

First up, Dear Jennifer: Cashier Samantha Willems leads an uneventful and carefree life ... until her boyfriend dies in a way that makes her the prime suspect. She flees to the city of Nijmegen, where strange things start occurring during the Walk of the World. Suspecting dark forces that may come from within her are at play, Samantha sets off on a search for the truth … but prays she won’t find it.

Next, Dawn's Eventide: What's an agoraphobic woman to do when two robbers on the lam invade her home—her sanctuary—to hide from the police? While the Walk of the World festivities continue unabated right outside, Dawn's apartment becomes the stage for a three-player battle of wills … and there can be only one winner.
