Do you think Tarja knew how successful At Sea would be?
Is this the direction she would like to take... these epic songs, but she only “dared” to try it with one song. Whether she didn’t know how such a big song would be received, because it really was a bold step. Or whether she knew the song would be a success.
Do you think this is a trend, and that she will become even bolder and more expansive? I’m glad the album is so diverse, so heavy, and that every song is different. But those things don’t exclude each other. I know At Sea impressed even the biggest skeptics, and I’m curious whether she’ll “go off the rails” even more on future albums.
What do you think?
