Please suggest me a book as a fan of Calvino, Borges, Murakami, etc.

Hi book friends!

I'm looking for some reading materials, having read most of the "typical" recommendations already.

I'm a big fan of Borges (I've read all of his stories but especially loved Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius), Calvino (I loved the I nostri antenati trilogy as well as "On a winter's night a traveler"), Murakami (I've read his whole bibliography). I've also read most stuff in this wheelhouse already, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Umberto Eco, China Mieville, Kafka and quite enjoyed myself. Steinbeck is also amongst my favourite writers. I read in English as well as German.

Now I'm looking for new stuff to read over the summer. I'm not a huge fan of stream of consciousness writing.

Thank you!

EDIT: Than you all. I have put in an order with my bookseller of choice for: The Shadow of the Wind (Zafon), Red is my Name (Pamuk), The French Lieutenant's Woman (Fowles), Dictionary of the Khazars (Pavic) and Laurus (Vodolazkin), which should entertain me for a few weeks.
