Fans, help me understand Jax!

Hello. I found out Jax is a trans woman. I am not trans but I am a cis woman and it is known that trans women are women. But if Jax is trans, why does he (she?) seems to have a manly mind? Characters' designs look like "their mind files" so why is Jax not female? Shouldn't he (she?) have female form is Jax is a woman? Since trans women are women? I thought Jax was a trans man, because he is ashamed of girly things and his mind file is a man, so something he really and truly is. That's why he is so ashamed to wear a dress. And his room is pink, because Caine thought this is going to be a "female character" based on data he gathered. What do you think?
