Still keeping your tokens in a hot wallet? You're one hack away from losing EVERYTHING.
This title isn't exaggerated.
This morning (European time), a long-term KENDU holder joined the Telegram group to reveal that his wallet had been completely drained.
That "massive sell" everyone noticed today? It wasn't a whale taking profits. It was 613 million KENDU stolen and dumped in a single transaction.
According to him, he hadn't used his wallet in a long time. The only recent change was updating the MetaMask app on his phone.
Within the last 2.5 years in crypto, I've seen many people report that their entire wallet had been drained. They all had one thing in common: their hot wallet was on their smartphone.
Every one of them said the same thing: they hadn't clicked on a suspicious link, connected their wallet to a shady website, or done anything that seemed risky.
So please, don't store your crypto, especially your KENDU, on a hot wallet on your phone.
Instead, invest in a hardware wallet like Ledger (https://www.ledger.com) or Trezor (https://trezor.io/). Only buy directly from their official websites.
Personally, I use a Ledger Nano S Plus. It cost me around €49, and ever since I moved my KENDU to it, I've slept much better.
Stay safe. Protect your investment today so you can enjoy your future wealth tomorrow.
