anybody have experience with Sta-Tru TR30?

I was doing my perpetual poking around looking for candidates for a new wheelset and came across the Sta-Tru TR30s. I was surprised I've not come across them before, or heard anything as they seem rather unique: rim brake, tubeless compatible, 30mm internal width. only potential red flag is they are pinned and I've never heard of people using them.

I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone has a set, or has experience with any of the Sta-Tru TR series. For rim brake compatible and tubless I was pretty sure the best option for me would be the Velocity Cliffhangers or Voyagers from Velo Orange but both are a little narrow internally for 2.4-2.8" tyres i'm working with. I know that they'll work on 25mm internal (22 for the voyagers) but 30mm would be more ideal for sure.

I know trek had some wheelsets with Sta-Tru rims for pretty deep discount, so if anyone picked them up and has thoughts on the rims themselves (not hubs or spokes or wheel lacing quality) that would be super insightful.
