Peach & Lily lip balm spoils fast??

Has anyone else experienced this? This is my second tube of Peach & Lily lip balm that spoils at the 3 month mark.

When I first get it, it's amazing. Best thing I've ever put on my lips. I put it on at night before bed and it heals my lips and replenishes moisture better than anything else. But then right around the 3 month mark, it starts to smell a bit weird and then my lips slowly get progressively more irritated

I thought maybe the first one was just a fluke, but super disappointed that something of that price spoils so quickly. There's like half the product left in there 😩 am I just doing something wrong to make it spoil so fast?
