How come my USA union workplace has a 70%+ FMLA rate, but nationwide FMLA is about 15% or so, when it's a federal law since the 90s?
Are union workers just privy with finding excuses to get out of work? Is the union able to protect them? Are non-union employers quick to fire people before they can use it?
