Winter sale possibility?

Hello everyone, currently looking at trip to JP in Jan. Seeing the crazy price drop for the summer sale, was just wondering if they have done similar sale for winter period or not. Purchasing 5 tixs, is it better to maybe wait for prices to drop or just lock it in?
