REBEL LONGSHOT: HOME RUN DERBY - KYLE SCHWARBER

* Kyle Schwarber Home Run Derby Winner

If there’s ever been a year for Kyle Schwarber to finally win the Home Run Derby, it’s this one. He’s been here before, reached the final once already, and now comes into the All Star break leading the MLB with 32 home runs. Nobody has been hitting the long ball better.

The biggest advantage is the location. This year’s Derby is at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, meaning Schwarber gets to swing in front of his home crowd. That extra energy could be exactly what pushes him over the top. His swing is also built perfectly for this event. It’s all or nothing power, and when Schwarber gets into a rhythm, the baseball leaves the yard in a hurry.
