Coffee shops with live music?

Hello everyone! Next week I will be coming to the city with my family. Does anyone have recommendations for coffee shops or pubs with live music? My family loves listening to small artists or maybe local bands wherever we go. I'm talking about the type of places where a guitar player might come on stage and sing a few songs for everyone to enjoy during the day. Thank you!
