Why are people frustrated about sector 5 hawker teardown?

The public has made their choice. Please let them live with it. They wanted roads free of obstacles, so the hawkers had to go. Now the public didn't think about the indirect consequence of having to eat at resto/cafes and paying higher prices but you can't blame them! Please relish your ₹5-10 teas because soon you have to add another 0 after them like the rest of India. And there is no free space to put all these displaced hawkers anyway so we will keep them alive in our memories. We might not get the salaries we want, but hey, at least we will get the inflationary prices :) This is only the beginning...
