Think about it this way...

If you give any character an underwhelming kit after being nerfed , but has a high skill ceiling such as spiderman (FOR EXAMPLE). Say spiderman gets a quality of life buff, after being ignored in patch notes for seasons on end. The people who would still make the underwhelming kit work, and try their best to be good on him just to enjoy the character. Over time they build up experience on this character, meanwhile the rest of characters forget to counter him, play against him since he has not been in any games for a long time. When the character gets quality of life buffs, and people don't remember counter play for a brief period of time, of course this character will dominate for a few days. People who have experience, and now have a better kit can excel in ways that people forget, a skilled person can make that character excel. So does that mean the character would need to be nerfed because they are considered "overpowered" due to lack of other players having experiences with a spiderman? Is the character overpowered or are newer players less experienced with older characters potential? This is the same exact problem with pyslocke. She is not overpowered, only the team-up was. The only reason she was dominating is because people forgot counter play, and have become complacent with paying attention. Just because people are complacent with paying attention to dive, does not mean that the character is overpowered. I rest my case, thank you. Do not bring up any streamers as they are a small percentage of this game, and most of them have streamer friends to do the things that they do. Streamers live in a different gameplay version than us.
