It doesn’t harm my life enough

I feel like weed is so hard to quit bc so many of us can remain “functional” addicts because our lives are set up in a way that we can afford to not have to suffer too many consequences from using it.

Because it doesn’t harm my life enough, there’s so much less of an incentive to quit.

It’s not like alcohol or hard drugs where it just completely derails your life and withdrawals are really difficult and the consequences hit so much harder.

Every time I’ve quit l, withdrawals were honestly surprisingly easy to tolerate, and usually I was able to drink water and I would be okay.

It’s also harder to quit vaping than smoking bc it’s so much harder to detect and therefore easier to do.

It’s crazy how I can be a “functional” adult (even though I’m not *really* functioning that well, I can present that appearance) who lowkey has psychosis and is dependent on weed.

It’s also less harmful to my life than social media and scrolling and rumination which is what I usually end up doing to replace weed.
