I just wanted to add my experience here in hopes this might help inform others who are considering buying one.

**TLDR:** my experience has been good so far and I am pleased with my purchase.

**Purchase**

I bought the graphite color fridge on June 23 during their sale that coincided with the Amazon Prime Days sale. Sale price was $1695 + $100 shipping + tax, so my total cost was $1916. During that sale, three colors were available for $1595, but not any colors that I wanted. It was delivered on July 13, so 3 weeks from the date of purchase. Also, as a tip, if you think you want white-glove service, I wouldn't get it during your initial purchase. I got two notices after my purchase that they would drop the price on the white glove service. I think that brought it from $125 to $95. Not a huge discount, but still helpful.

**Delivery**

AM Transportation Logistics was the delivery team. I had no major problems with them but I think that comes down to luck more than anything else. I will reiterate what other folks have noticed about them. You get very little notice of when they are coming, you are told of a 4 hour window for their arrival one business day before it is planned. I got a text, email and phone call on Friday afternoon July 10, all automated so all 3 forms of communication happened at the same time. I was told my fridge would arrive on Monday, July 13, between 8:30 and 12:30. If that worked, I needed to confirm. If it didn't work, then I needed to call to cancel and then they would reschedule.

Fortunately, that day and time worked for me. On Monday, I got an automated call letting me know they were 45 minutes away. Sure enough, they arrived 45 minutes after that. The main guy was on his phone from the time he stepped out of the truck until he stepped back in it. He and the guy with him brought the fridge inside my house and placed it near where I planned to put it. The main guy, still chatting on his phone, took pictures of each side of the box. Brought up two forms for me to sign on his phone, while still chatting to whomever he was talking to. He never talked to me or addressed me at all. The only thing the other delivery guy did was knock on my door to be sure I was home. He helped with the physical aspect of the delivery but nothing other than that. Not great customer service, but they did the job they were paid to do and did it quickly. So be it.

**Set up**

I debated about whether or not to do white glove service. Since the fridge weighs 128 lbs, I was worried if I could move it around easily, lay it down to attach the legs, and then get it back up once the legs were on. I'm a 55-year-old woman. I'm not handy, mechanically inclined, or terribly strong. I had no problems unboxing it, laying it down, picking it up, and moving it into place. My floors are hardwood, so you might have a different experience on carpet. I had no issues and am glad I didn't pay extra for white glove.

*3 small things with the setup were a bit fiddly during setup:*

1. Per instructions, you shouldn't cut the straps around the box, because those will be required if you send it back. It wasn't easy getting them off without cutting them, but I managed it.

2. The handle was a pain to attach. My tip is to just barely screw in the top and bottom screws. Only tighten the screws after you've done that. I tightened one screw all the way and then it was impossible to line up the second one. I had to loosen the top screw until it was just barely hanging on and then I could do the same with the bottom screw.

3. I never saw them mentioned anywhere in the instructions but 4 adhesive felt pads for the feet were included in the packaging. In theory, you had to peel off the paper cover and then adhere it to the foot. The paper cover WOULD NOT peel off from the edge. I ended up having to lightly score the paper with a knife to get it to peel away from the center out. If you have hardwood floors, I definitely recommend using these pads. They have made it super easy to shift around without doing any floor damage.

**The Fridge Itself**

I followed the instructions and let the fridge sit unplugged for 24 hours. I plugged it in and kept it empty while it cooled down to the preset temps of 37 and 41. This happened far quicker for me than some of the comments on this subreddit have noted. Within about 3 hours of plugging it in, it was very cold inside. I filled it up and 3 hours after that, all the drinks were perfectly chilled.

The fridge is extremely silent. I can hear it, but only when I'm right next to it. As others on here have noted with their fridges, the top of mine is bowed. That doesn't affect how I plan to use it, so no big deal for me. The paint job seems well done and I haven't noticed any cosmetic issues at all.

**Worth it?**

So far, I think so. Mine is in the dining area of my open floor plan home. I wanted it to look like furniture, which it does. I wanted the graphite color because that matches other colors in my house. I didn't want something that looked like a dorm fridge and that could potentially freeze and then defrost leaving puddles of water that could damage my hardwood floors. The warranty and same compressor as the Sub Zero fridges were also selling points, as was the steel construction.

Was it worth the nearly $2,000 I paid for it? For now, things are great with it and if that stays true for another 10 years, then yes, probably so. I didn't find any other fridges that seemed as attractive or as well made. For now, at least, I'm happy with this purchase and it has met or exceeded my expectations.
