reddit upvote and downvote very strange

I Like / Dislike

It often feels like if you want karma, you can't say what you actually think. Instead, you have to figure out what the majority wants to hear and repeat that. The voting system encourages conformity. Once a comment starts getting downvoted, people seem more likely to downvote it too, while highly upvoted comments often receive even more upvotes simply because they're already popular. Other words, it feels like Reddit rewards popular opinions more than honest ones. If you genuinely disagree with the majority, you risk getting buried, even if you're respectful and make reasonable arguments. Ironically, if your karma gets destroyed for expressing an bad post, you can always use AI to farm karma back and keep posting In Does anyone else feel this way...?
