Why can’t I gift to friends on my account?

Hey all,

I got a new Xbox one series S at the start of June and the very first thing I downloaded was Wizard101. My partner and I had multiple profiles on our original Xbox one, with Profile A being the home profile we used to play Wizard101, and Profile B we would use for other games. Well I transferred Profile B to the new Xbox and made it the Home profile for THAT console so that we could each have an account to play Wizard101 together.

We’ve been playing for over a month together now, and every time I want to send a gift to my partner’s account when they’re logged in, the crown shop acts like my friends list is empty. They aren’t the only friend on my list either, and even when other friends are online I can’t send gifts to them either. What’s going on and what do I have to do to send my partner a surprise Yuletide pack?
