Anyone from Albay? Looking for a dentist/oral surgeon that offers IV sedation for tooth extraction

Hi everyone. I'm from Albay and I'm hoping someone can help or share their experience.

I have a severe fear of tooth extraction because of a traumatic experience back in high school. A dentist tried to extract my tooth (the one beside my wisdom tooth), but even after 3–4 local anesthesia injections, I could still feel intense pain during the extraction. I couldn't continue the procedure, so it was stopped. Since then, I've been extremely anxious and traumatized about having any tooth extracted while awake.

Now I'm in college, and that same tooth really needs to be removed. I recently asked a dentist about having it done under general anesthesia, but I was told it could cost around ₱25,000 or more for just one tooth, depending on the case, and that it would likely need to be done in Legazpi.

I'm wondering if anyone knows:

• Is there any dentist or oral surgeon in Albay (preferably Legazpi or nearby) who offers IV sedation (conscious sedation) for tooth extraction?
• If you've had an extraction under IV sedation, how much did it cost (including the extraction if possible)?
• Can PhilHealth help cover any part of IV sedation or the hospital fees, or is it usually fully out of pocket?
• If you've had a similar experience where local anesthesia didn't seem to work well, what was the reason, and what helped during your next extraction?

I'm really hoping to hear from people who have gone through something similar. I know I need this tooth removed, but my fear is honestly overwhelming because of what happened before.
