Replacement earbuds for galaxy pro buds 3 not syncing

Hi, if anyone here can help me. I've searched this subreddit and tried everything but nothing's working.
My old right buds got damaged. I bought a replacement one online from ebay but when I try to sync it (holding down the bottom button for 7+ seconds) blue light blink but then it turns red.

It connects seperately to both old left buds and new right buds but when i connect the new right bud, it asks me to update the software but I can't update because I need both buds connected.

I tried everything I can think of, like putting the new one in the case, connecting and then pressing the button to sync it with the old one but nothing.

Please any help?
