Are there Undercover Agents Throughout Lawrence?

I've always wondered if there are undercover agents today in political organizations, protests, crowded bars, and large crowds. In 1968-1970 there were such agents from several agencies: LPD, KBI, FBI, and other federal agencies. Today there could also be agents from Homeland Security Investigations, etc.
