Broke nursing student living off savings: Linen or Cotton bed sheets?
Hi, I am a 24F moving into my family's apartment during my time in nursing school. I still will be paying rent, but discounted which I am so grateful for. There is a king bed in one of the rooms and to keep things easy I am not going to bother moving it. However, it means I have to buy new sheets and duvet cover.
I am looking online and in general everything is super expensive for a king bed, given the size. I am one to buy things that are worth it in the long run, and I will be living here for at least two years. While I am seeing that linen sheets are more expensive, I have heard they last longer. I have savings (and a job but I make close to nothing bc I don't work a lot due to school), so I could buy the more expensive linen sheets ($100 for duvet, $200 for sheet set), or I could get the cotton ones (a little bit less expensive).
I was also thinking of getting linen sheets, but a cotton duvet cover? Regardless, I am curious what people thing the best long term/bang for my buck choice is, and if you have any affordable/good quality recommendations!
Thanks :)
