Where can I get a BLACK wedding dress in time for a mid-October 2026 wedding???

Hello all! My fiance and I finally set a date and are getting married this October. We've had some family things happen that have pushed us to get married sooner rather than later.

I did NOT realize the standard timeline for wedding dresses was like 6-8 months plus! I feel like this is going to be my biggest hurdle.

I already have the ceremony location locked in, and it's a small 30-35 person affair so we will be doing dinner afterwards. I haven't booked a restaurant yet but have a list and feel like there's plenty of time for that.

But the dress, where can I get one in this timeline? I don't want it to look cheap, even though this is small and rushed I still want it to be a nice wedding.

I'm looking for a BLACK dress and a shop that has plus-size options. Please send me your reccs! I am also open to non-wedding black dresses too, in case you know of any other type of dress shops.

Also, if you have any recommendations on a photographer, please share that too! Mid-october, 1 day, 2 locations (ceremony and dinner), in Geneva/St. Charles. I do not have a huge budget for this, ideally around $1000 if possible. The photographers I've seen are all like $2k+.
